ani
Does anyone else want to attempt contacting Cereal about his tracks for Seasick??? Is Cereal still game for doing this? If he does not want his tracks included, it would pretty well put a wrench in the Seasick song as far as the musical content; but if he doesn't want his works to be a part of what it has become...??? It would be nice to know what's up so this project can progress in a forward motion.
20to20
Ani, I think it may be safe to assume that cerealhas chosen to not continue with us on this project... If I get all of the finished tracks by the end ofthis monthg I'll have the CD finished by mid-Feb,then we can send it to be copied by jackpine... I've heard that there are going to be 2 or 3songs come in under the wire, so it lookslike Volume One will feature 8 or 9 cuts... Good work everybody, Bob Bob Phillips 20to20soundesign
ani
It would be a total bummer for those that put effort into Seasick, but if ONE person doesn't go with the flow; then there will be hardships down the road. If the rest of you guys Sylver, Brakka, B_3guy, flyscots, and Wewus if he wants in, want to rework Seasick to a different arrangement; the words can be pulled back out and we can do our own thing! Of course, it would not make the deadline for project #1. Bob, did you get the email about 93.5FM???

DanS
I think the problem with the manager's song is indicative of the overall problem with a project of this magnitude. It has gone on for too long, and now some people can't even remember why they got involved in the whole works in the first place.Cereal isn't interested. Probably hasn't been for a long time.Bury the dead horse, stop beating it. 8 or 9 tracks works for me.We can't keep Bob waiting forever either. What we record in life, echoes in eternity. 20to20
Ok Folks, I'm still accepting any post-last-minuteentries (Bunny?) while I'm doing the finalassembly & mastering of the tunes that I have so far... Any stragglers should contact Ani to get access to her FTP site to transfer your mix to me... Have we decided on the "official" name thatthis CD collection will be known as...? What about the artwork...? Jackpine, do you design graphics...? I remember Ani offering at one point also... Maybe a collaboration on the art...? Also JP, can you PM me with your mailing addyso that I can send you the master CD when finished...? I'll be finished by mid-Feb (or sooner)... Thanks, Bob Phillips20to20soundesign Bob Phillips 20to20soundesign
ani
The offer is still open for the graphics Bob; just give me an idea what folks want in the collab graphics and if there are exact dimensions that need to be adhered to for the inserts to be printed, let me know what they are. Also, do I need to do a credits page? If so, we need to get exact credits all in one centralized location.
nursers
Thanks for the update Bob I will post another poll on the album title based on the suggestions so far. Can I suggest that I will play dictator on this issue and insist people vote on the album titles in the poll, not suggest again that they don't like any of em The Keyboard Chronicles Podcast Check out your fellow forumites in an Apple Music playlist Check out your fellow forumites in a Spotify playlist My Music: Stainless Fields

Bunny Knutson
Hi, Bob! I've been way too busy lately to get any additional TGOR material together, so let's go with whatever ya got. Did you ever get a copy of our little "Bunny's Beat" ditty? If not, then that recording may have died with MP3.com. I don't have a copy that I can find, and I don't think Wewus was able to find a copy, either. Thanks, Bob! https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/
ani
Bunny, I have a copy of Bunny's Beat that is stored on my hard drive in m3u format. I can't open it with my program, but if you still have the program that created it; you should be able to open the file. The file isn't in wav format so I don't know if it would be usable for the CD project; however, if you'd like, I can send you the file. Just let me know where to send it to. Franknputer
Hi - m3u is actually a playlist format, not an audio format. If you can't play it, I suspect that the file it points to is no longer there.
20to20
Okay, so the final list of tunes is: 1.Empty Words2.En Transit3.Howls at the Moon4.(We are) The Gods of Rock5.Strip Down6.I'm Free7.Answers in the Rain Am I missing anything...?________________________________ ATTN TGOR, the mix I have of (WA)TGOR doesnot have the "Flipper chirps" and the "or are we?"at the end like the MP3 that I had heard... This correct version, or is it...? Thanks, Bob Bob Phillips 20to20soundesign
20to20
jackpine, Do you do graphic design...? If so, perhaps Ani could send you anyImages and Text and then you could put together the actual "package"... We had discussed keeping the text on theCD package to the bare minimum and then "link" the curious to a webpage for full details... Also, how do we handle the logisticsof people paying you for the CDs...? ani
Let me know what we are looking for in a graphics design. Something creative, something real, something abstract, something wild, something colorful, something unusual.... ideas???
nursers
Unusual / abstract appeals to me.
