Brakka
The deadline set at the start of the project was Sept 1. Some of the managers recently discussed the deadline, and as of right now, we're sticking to it. We may not all make it, but I'm sure you all know how deadlines are- some of us need them or we wouldn't get anything done. So for now, Sept 1 stands. Get back to work. http://www.ronbalicki.com/images/pmp/whip.jpg

DanS
Look, we're having trouble with the pre-amp in our zither. We need more time. MORE TIME DAAAAAMMMMMMMNNNNNN YOUUUUUUUUUU! Brakka
I'm sure you'll find plenty of sites online about zither electronics (try Google), but most zitherists prefer mic-ing their instruments. Maybe there is a midi retrofit you could try. Do dither the zither, dude. http://images.google.com/images?q=tbn:7Hx17kiXQAEC:www.justforsundae.com/dewan/dewan.jpg
Wrave
I will NEVER dither my zither!!! Wrave
OK, now I see I am the only one old enough around here to remember the "Buster Brown Show" when I was a kid and his side kick "Froggy". Buster would turn to Froggy and say, "Pluck on your magic twanger Froggy" and they'd show a cartoon. You kids need to have more respect for your elders and laugh and respond when we make a joke! Jeez!!! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ME: "Nobody knows the troubles I've seen!" Unknown Voice: "The Shadow do!"
Brakka
Yeah, my grandfather used to say weird stuff that we didn't understand, and I was told to just let him talk. Do you have any stories about World War I?

Sylver
Well, there's no possible way my team is going to make it's deadline. Everyone is having some sort of issue, technical or otherwise. I really don't know what to put here.

Then, when September 1 rolls around and only SOMA has a finished song, we'll all agree to extend the deadline to October 1." flyscots
Yeah it looks like a little more time would be nice. Bunny's post was good. As it stands, I dont know where I'll get a chance to do a mix. Big K is waiting on a new computer, our singer is having major computer problems and another will be working out of town and therefore unable to participate from now through the start of September. We have 2 great songs in the making. We are almost there, if only we could all get together. John

Don't fall out of line or I'll have you relocating your new pool to my residence and I will allow you to clean it for me at the start of each season. I could use a new form of relaxation after the exhausting efforts of keeping time with SOMA! You can take the man away from his music, but you can't take the music out of the man. DanS
My apologies Ani. Wrave put me up to the whole thing. He's such a shite disturber. As far as relaxation goes, when this CD sells 10million copies, you can get yourself a Jacuzzi©, and The Wewus can be the skimmer. I hear his/her appetite for plankton is unquenchable. Wewus432
You're funny Dan. I like this idea of The Gods Of Rock vs. SOMA and the evil Empress Ani'Fa. We should develop this further. It's the role Anifa was made to play. This could be a Major Motion Picture, a Musical stage show, a book, and an album. So do you think I have delusions of grandeur? Here me now, and believe me later, you haven't seen anything yet. Careful now............. or you could get sucked into my psychosis. I think it's a valid question to ask, "who is crazier, me or Anifa?"
DanS
Rock Opera Baby! We could get Luc Plamondon/Leonard Cohen to write the lyrics. Ani's crazier, hands down. It's a female thing, are you female Wewus? If so, we'll set up a jello wrassling match to decide. Could be a focal point in the film. Start working the story boards. I'll make some sandwiches. Wewus432
Uh no, I'll be writing the lyrics, and I'm not a woman, or a man, I'm a God, who appears in male form. I seriously doubt that Anifa is crazier than I am. I'm crazy in innumerable ways, and she just has that egomania, and talking in riddles thing going for her. I can do that in my sleep. DanS
In that case you do have delusions of grandeur, but it's okay, we can work around that for the film. It may be problematic for the traveling road show, in which case you'd be on your own, but you could still bring the CD's along. Who's in? What we record in life, echoes in eternity.
