We were wondering if there is possible to organize sort of a "online party" where people could jam along with others in real time. Could you explain a little bit if that is possible? I mean, to create some "base" tracks, the some of us could start to jam over them... more than one at the same time... nursers Posted May 29, 2002 Share Posted May 29, 2002 Hiya Gus, This is definitely possible. All that needs to happen is: 1. All party participants register a username with Rocket Network (www.rocketnetwork.com) - when you are asked which studio center you want to join, select Music Player / Track Exchange. This means you will default to there when you log in, makes it easier for us all to meet. 2. You then set a time and date. Everyone logs in and goes to an agreed project (as studio admin of that studio centre I can set you up with a blank project to work on). 3. You will also need to agree on platform (Cubase, Logic etc), or I can set up two projects, one in each platform. That's it! No cost and a great way for people to check out the system. We had even have a problem to just meet online in a live chat room. Since I'm doing everything I can to get my community together, it's very probable I will finally set something with the rocket tech. I'll keep you posted.
