...WHY did I read that ENTIRE "The truth about 11 september 2001" thread??!!!??!! There's so much name-calling in there, that even *I* got called names, and I didn't even put forth an *opinion* on the subject! I merely pointed out that each individual speaks only for themselves (elected officials excluded). Sheesh.

I'm thinking, "someone prefers _Long Island_ over _New Hampshire_?!" -- a sad choice, granted, but.... I'm thinking, "my lower back hurts." I'm thinking, "I hate that Sweetwater test to see if I'm epileptic at the top of this page" -- I'm not, but I think that thing is going to make me one, soon. I'm thinking, "I ate too much for dinner." I'm thinking, "I wish my computer fan were quieter." I'm thinking, "Will I _ever_ decide whether brushing my teeth in the evening or the morning is a better idea?!" I'm thinking, "it sucks to be unemployed [ground bass of my life right now, basically...er...]" I'm thinking, "I have a beautiful daughter with an amazing sense of optimism and boundless energy." I'm thinking, "I wish it would rain more. I want a good, dramatic thunderstorm right now." I'm thinking, "it's going to be Halloween soon... .yippeee!!" Well... you asked. :) rt

I'm thinking "My daughter's writing a cool song. What kind of little four track should I buy her for a musical sketch pad?" I'm thinking "My Les Paul should be here anyday". And, thinking of something else entirely.

Ya know, 'cause dad's got some stuff to record too. :thu: Oh yeah, and a nice warm sleeping bag. The garage **[where you will undoubtedly be sleeping after the HD purchase]** will be getting chilly as we move into fall. Ya gotta suffer for your art. :D

I'm think about how some friends of mine had separated this weekend and are filing for divorce. I went over to visit the Mrs. because she probably needed someone to talk to. Then the Mr. came over and was all being a total dick about everything, demanding to have the car, pushing her around, challenging me and what have you. I'm thinking about how this is going to suck for both of them (and thier adorable son who just turned 2) I'm also thinking over how pissed off i am at him for being like that, and how pissed off i am at myself because i am generally non-confrontational and turn into a limp dishrag when someone starts putting me to the test like that. Oh well... *this* is why i don't get the chix.... fuggit. Look where dating gets you nowadays (points at all his friends who are divorced) Hrmm.. i feel better already :D ========================================== #include

Most of the day i was battling with how to paint the house. It was Brown and we didn't like that so we picked a reddish brown and i sprayed 1/2 the house and we didn't like it so i got some different brown and tried that and did the trim with a different brown, same as the deck, and we like that and i did the shed an avacado green with the same brown as the deck and house trim and we like that, but i thought the neighbour may not so i did his side grey!So we went from having a brown house with blue trim to a brown house with brown trim. The problem is the roof is metal sheathing and it is red. Which sucks. It may be a blessing though because me lady likes her colors and it woulda ended up yellow if there hadn't been some restrictions. Fortunatley she has stunning taste and saw the roadblock. And right now i am thinking i am going to go jump in the shower with her and wash her bum bum. :D

My mix (I did last night) sucks. ...It sounds even more flat than the previous one... Well, except for the lead vocal... I think I managed to improve its dynamics somehow. A bit. Yeah it really sounds better. ... But this freaking bass drum!? What happened to it!?? Why did I "experiment" with its eq and compression? Am I nuts or what?!! :freak:  Stupid, stupid, stupid... and deaf.

I'm thinking Taj Mahal. How did a big building like that, from India become a blues singer? What if the Sears Building played lead guitar in Taj Mahal's band. They would probably have to play mostly large venues. What if the Empire State Building wanted to play Broadway? What if The Pyramids had a Las Vegas revue?

C.M. -- no, unfortunately it's a PC. One I even hand-selected all the parts for, and case for, and fan for, and put together myself, hoping that if I did all this and avoided the JUNK that the usual sell-you-a-PC companies throw into the mix, it would be perfect. It's better, but the "whisper quiet fans" (plural) needed to keep Intel Man from burning out inside are still noise. Take about 30db off the noise floor of any room where you're trying to do music and you don't have your computer entirely encased inside a block of amber. If I had a god-dam job right now, and the extra spending money to go with it, I think I'd head out and get a Powerbook Ti and be done with it. :) I've always been a Motorola architecture fan anyways, one memory address space, ooooh... uh, yeah. Much more efficient architecture, and the G4 I'm sure is cooler and more efficient than the Intel equivalent. rt

Thinking? Was I supposed to be THINKING? I'm at WORK, man. Still, a few thoughts slip through: How am I gonna get all this work done? I'm STRESSED OUT... Better check the Anderton forum. Theraputic. Hmmm... Still no on-topic posts. So nothing important happening in the "outside music world". What's this thread, "What are you thinking"...
