Blue Strat
I think I've got the basics covered with my setup - 22" bass, 12", 13", and 16" toms, 14" x 5.5" wood snare, and hi-hats, 16" crash, and 20" ride. What nice little extras can be had for little money? Cow bell? jam blocks? What's really worth the money? BlueStrat a.k.a. totemspock
A cheap drum machine maybe? It´s fun to play with. Or a splash maybe?
Dwarf
I'd look at getting another crash. For me I'd go with a 14", most people would add an 18". -- Rob I have the mind of a criminal genius.....I keep it in the freezer next to mother.
Kevin F
I agree, another crash 14 or 18. Also a good splash and a china. It's best to get comfortable with what you have and then slowly expand. I have seen a lot of drummers do more with a good five piece than someone with a whole truckload of drums.
Blue Strat
Kevin, I bought a 12" Wuhan china a few weeks ago, before Christmas. $16. I bought a cymbal stand today for it, CB percussion boom stand. $35. I'm out of money again. But I've got a stand for further expansion now! I'm thinking maybe a cheap 8" or 10" Wuhan splash next?
