sduross
Hey bass brains! I'm trying to find a decent set of taper-wounds for 5 string. Is it me, or did there used to be several and now they've all but stopped making them? I used to love Trace Eliot strings - so of course they're no more. All I can find is a Fender set which I'm not too thrilled with. I ask you - is there a decent set of tapers left for 5 string? Danzilla
Try the Ken Smith Rock Masters; make sure that you have the "T" after the set you want, because they make these as both tapered and untapered sets. I think you can get the E tapered, too if you like. Lakland also makes a set with a tapered B. Wally Malone
Dean Markley SR2000's, have them on my F Bass BN5. I have basses to play, places to be and good music to make!
