NYC : Where's Everyone Playing?

Yo:

I'm going to the BPLive and I was wondering if all y'all NYC thumpers might know where I can catch a good show while in town. I'm interested in catching a cool Jazz show. I hear that Richard Bona plays the 55 Bar sometimes. Anyone know if he'll be there that weekend? What else is going down that weekend?

Some of us will be at BP Live both days or one day. I hope to make it there on Sunday.

As for catching gigs...

Google the following venues and look up their calendars...

The 55 Bar

Bitter End

Iridium

Blue Note

Jazz Standard

Smoke

Or Google some of the players you're interested in and check for their gigs.

Remember, Sat night there will be a monster show as part of BP Live.

Peace.

Hey thanks, I was interested too. But I didn't know it. :D

Course I never get in to anywhere.

I will probably get dragged around by my mum or play when I'm not doing anything else anyway. :D

I might add Kenny's Castaway and The Bitter End. Lots of varied music, each artist playing one set (many artists in an evening if you care to hang around).
