Repair person in DC area??

One of my guys wants to have a couple simple modification done on two of his basses. He's in Alexandria, Va. I told him I'd try to find him someone competent in the area but I'm having no luck from 3000 miles away. The area seems to be devoid of luthiers. Can anyone in the area recommend a tech?

Thanks.

In the DeeCee area, "Chuck Levin's" (formally "Washington Music Center") in Wheaton, MD is *the* music store. I actually have more experience with purchases than repairs, but "Chuck's" is where "everyone goes" around here.

I'd definately start there.

Note: The place is a "zoo" (very busy) on weekends. I'd try to stop by in the "off hours" if possible. Here's the URL: http://www.wmcworld.com/

Last time I was at Chuck's the repair shop was in a little stand-alone shack next to the parking lot shared by it and Chuck's. The repair guy is good enough for most routine work, and you shouldn't have to wait more than a week for the work to get done.
