QoolSynthEFX
Is being a musician for both work (pay) and fun (pay/non-pay), or just fun (pay/non-pay)??

davio
How 'bout fun work? What if it's fun while I'm working and not so much when I'm just there to have fun? What if I get paid depending on how well I do? Dude, please lay off the polls and lists for a little while and contribute to the discussions. After being a bit more active on the board, feel free to do a few more of these.

EZ
I play for the love of the music, I enjoy playing. When I was young it started out as fun, but when it became a way of making a living, it was not as much fun, it became more like work. I will say there was a lot more fun playing than what I do now. If you smell something stinking, it's juz me, I'm funky like that
QoolSynthEFX
Just for fun (I only have one synth and a receiver to plug it in to and a pair of speakers to hear my novicism with, no pay, and thankfully no audience) when I feel like piddling around!! Fred TBP
If it's what they want to do it's work, if it's what I want to do it's fun, and sometimes the two intersect. That's how it goes.
Cthulhu Fhtagn
Until the fun and the work collide and because work is made from "anti-fun" they mutually anahilate each other and then there's that whole rip in the time/space continuum thing to worry about, then the aliens slip through and start taking us out of our beds in our sleep and probing us with the tacit support of the one-world shadow government... ...oops!
