Well, I've been playing for about 20 years, I currnetly play in my Church's Praise & Worship team. I work, but only because I have to. I really want to do music ministry full time. I don't want to be famous, but I want to make a living doing what I love...worshipping the one true living God and playing bass! I can't get enough of either!

Welcome! There's quite a few bassists here who play in their church's worship bands (me included). Sounds like your heart is definitely in the right place...

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. I used to frequent another forum for bass players, but the filth and trash was just about unbearable. This seems to be a much better place with people who actually have brains.

There are a lot of us here who play in church. I do every week. It is my main gig right now, and much more fulfilling than the others.

Be careful though. This forum will make you want to spend a lot of time here.
