rumpelstiltskin.
that looks pretty respectable. the groove shoppe also has sort of a signature fodera, too. i think they know what they're doing when it comes to high-end customs. i think they also took a conceptual clue from the low end, who commissioned chris benavente to make them their house-branded low end jazz basses. i've seen them up to seven strings. robb. because i like people. Tom Capasso
Attractive, interesting, and.... raises lots of questions. Tobias helped design it, but who is making it? Who is making the neck? Who is doing the fretwork? What does David Segal have to do with this? Are they being made at his facility on Long Island (where he says he uses Carl Weber speaker cabs). The Glockenklang preamp? Does that mean it will have "ringing" tones? Willie - since the Groove Shop is working on outfitting a van to bring the store to you, we should do this as a Low Down event! rumpelstiltskin.
i'd be on the list, but it's not like it takes much of a plan to buy the candy apple red with matching headstock and maple board sterling around the corner. in fact, it goes something like this: me: here's $900 cash. i'm going to take that sterling home. music castle: uh. ok. me: thanks, guys. see you in a couple years. now, the custom marchlewski will stew in my craw for quite some time before it happens. robb. because i like people. tnb
I need to hear that bass with at least a drummer. Or preferably a trio - piano, bass and drums or guitar, bass and drums. Especially with all that tricky stuff going on.
