PhilMan99
FYI, at BlockBuster, I just found a movie from a 2003 blues concert: "Lightning in a Bottle". Tons of legendary blues artists, presented with sort-of an historical perspective (the first being a song from Africa (Tongo?)). I had to break about 1/2 way through (leaving for the afternoon), but it seems really good. Unlike the similar movie about how hard the Motown "behind the scenes" guys had it, this one is simply a history of the blues.

Ross Brown
It is tremendous. The other day I plugged in and played along in the living room. Pityfull, I guess, but fun. Phil W
Not pitiful Ross: isn't that what all musicians have been doing since recordings were invented - playing along. Sounds like great fun, too! Probably exactly what I'll do. I keep some cables ready to plug my DVD player into my hifi whenever it's needed. http://philwbass.com
