I hope the guys going there will give it a whirl. .

g.
Yeah, I've seen plenty of plywood and plastic fake stuff at Namm before, when it hadn't even left the design phase yet, companies trying to steal a march on the competition with dealers. Now they use the internet to campaign. .
bassaddik
the briefcase made a lot of claims. i heard it at NAMM and..eh.. it sounded about as big as it's size- what i did about the look of this is that it may actually give some bass response.. if i get to NAMM, i'll try to give it a listen- i am going to try to make it there for at least one day. Danzilla
I contacted PJB about the extension cabinet, when I heard about this new release; they said they were still not in production yet, but should be shortly. That's the cab, not the Suitcase itself. While I like the additional power that the Suitcase affords, I doubt I'll get one. I have the Briefcase and the Six Pak; don't really need an in-between size. But I'm sure it will get some more people into their products. My main concern with the design of the Suitcase is portability, i.e. the handles. The Briefcase has one handle strap on top, and at 20 lbs +- that's easy to tote. This model is 49 lbs, and has two straps on the top. It's not going to be convenient to carry it with both hands, and it will probably be too awkward to try and carry it with one from one strap. Carrying the SixPak by the top handles is difficult to me; so Im glad it has side handles. Don't think the Suitcase is large enough to put side handles on it. Not sure what the solution is, but there's my issue! g.
Once the novelty wears off (small speakers, different shape where depth is emphasized), you have a combo amp with a couple of good gigging features (supposedly great DI, two instrument inputs with independence). Probably an expensive one at that. But if it handles ERBs with F#0 strings and sounds good doing it it'll be worthy. Some of the combos I've tried can't really deal with a low B well - or even an E... .
