zeronyne
I missed flight 1248 by 5 minutes. I'm glad no one was hurt on the plane. I hope the gentleman and his daughter who were in the car that got hit are OK. "For instance" is not proof.

Eric VB
No snow tires here. In fact, I need to replace the bald tires on my Breeze if I want to drive it, but I'll probably get regular low-mileage tires. (The car has 125,000 miles on it, and it wasn't built to last.) The tires on the van still look pretty good even after 30,000 miles. Didn't catch the flight 1248 story.

Bassplayerjoe
Glad that your okay, but it is terrible that the young boy was killed. It's kind of bittersweet.
