jraffertyuswest.net
Is there a way to record a voice so that it sounds the way the person hears it in their head when they sing it? Is there a way to somehow capture resonance from the skull and mix it in with the miked signal? Has this been tried? It seems like you could get more body and less hiss (throat sound) this way. -Josh.

DC
How about try a contact mic on the throat or over the sinus cavities (on cheek just under eye). Mix it with your regular mic. Don't know if it would help make things sound more organic or not, but it's certainly no stranger than micing the strings of an electric to mix in with the amp sound. -David http://www.garageband.com/artist/MichaelangelosMuse
