Bobby LowTones
Last weekend was a long weekend, so my wife and I drove to Montréal (from Québec) for a few days with no particular plan in mind. Our hotel was one block away from the House of Jazz, a place I wouldn't want to miss, and that's where I had the pleasure to listen to Alex Bellegarde, an excellent Latin Jazz upright player. He's playing there every sunday with Yoël Diaz, a Cuban pianist and his band. Alex is a very pleasant person to talk to, we really enjoyed our evening. So, if you are in the area, don't miss the occasion. (just hope I won't be flamed for this post ) Bob
Basshappi
Sounds like a great time. Tell us all about it. Nothing is as it seems but everything is exactly what it is - B. Banzai Life is what happens while you are busy playing in bands.
Bobby LowTones
Well, how about this for a taster... Right, this sample is not latin but, believe me, we've been exposed to so many overwhelming jazz and blues flavors there. Ambience was great, and so was the food & drinks (yes, it is also a very special restaurant). Bob
