Very nice I seen the GT-7 when i played a gig in Prince Edward Island(Can) a few summers ago. I beleive it was $1200 witch is pretty good for Canadaian Price.

That is one bass I would like to pick up some time, how are you likeing it?

edit-Rob Van Der Loo(Sun Caged) uses a GT-7.

I had a GT-7, sounded very good, but was a problem for me to play without pain. I had a GT-4 and I love the sound, but I need that low B. This is the prefect compromise. Easy to play and fills up the low end. I'm still look for a DBGT-7, but the money's kinda low now.

Welcome !!

Does it have purpleheart stringers in the neck?

I've enjoyed some of the Conklin GT5s that I've tried - nice.

I was on a trip in a small plane and we landed on a GT7 - plenty wide enough.
