My new baby is here...

Literally. My wife gave birth to our first child on 1/21/05. His name is Benjamin, he was 8lbs. 7oz. and 19" long. Everything is great and he is perfect in every way. I am just so excited that I wanted to share with everyone. I would have done so sooner but me and the wife have been a little busy. Here is a picture.

Good looking kid! And congratulations, life will never be the same. Big boy! I have 5 children from 20-5 years. I love them all very much. Things get crazy sometimes with kids...just take it easy and enjoy every minute!

Remember the song "Don't Worry, Be Happy".

Bless you all!

Vince

Thanks everyone! He has some pretty big hands. Perfect for bass. He is a strong little squirt too. Now I know why my wife would wince when he would kick. Everyone tells me that life will never be the same but, that it's good thing. I can really see that know that he is here. I already can't imagine life without him.

Beautiful child! I was just saying to my wife how I miss little babies, and someone (other than us)need to have one so I can get my baby fix.

My old Carvin's birthday was 1/21, but was longer and weighed a little more. ;)

Beautiful boy! Congrats and good luck to the three of you!

Why, I remember it as though it were a meal ago . . .

I have nothing nice to say so . . .

Congrats to you my friend! I had that same experience just a little over 2 years ago (daughter!). The first 6 months are the hardest, and it all gets easier after that. Go get some sleep while you can! ;)

Thanks to everyone for your kind thoughts it is really appreciated. :thu:

Right now he is all the new gear that I need. All though I would still like to have a Dingwall. But right now he has enough gas for both of us. :D

Love and health to you and yours, Wade.

I confess, I opened up this thread thinkin', "Awwright. Somebody got some new gear that I need to resist the urge to buy."

But this is WAY more 'portant than that.

I'll confess again...it still kinda makes me jealous. My little kids are all big now...my youngest is 6'5" and driving a Dakota. I really miss them tender years.

Still, being a Grandpa does indeed have wonderful rewards. May you get there in one piece.

For now, cherish every day, embed yourself in this young life.

Congratulations, WCunha!

Welcome to the groups of the people sleeping less than 6 hours a night, in case you don't already belong to that due to music! :D

Nice little boy, he's sure inherited the artistic genes from Daddy. Let him hear lots of music starting tomorrow. Mine used to stop crying when he heard Sting's music. Sort of the bass reminding him the heart beat, I guess, at which Sting is quite good subliminally... ;)

Peace!
