blix
Is it possible to switch from 110 v - 220 v on a Svt classic Head ?
Fred TBP
I don't have mine handy (SVT head or electrical reference book) but it comes down to either a built-in slider switch near the big power transformer or tapping a different set of leads on the primary end of the same transformer. There should be a schematic in the head to tell you what's what. I'm not up on 220v wiring, but I think there's a few variations on the standard throughout the world. The IEEE website can tell you more, thats where the standards are recorded. If you don't know what I'm talking about, that's probably a good indication that you should have someone else do that for you.
