way2fat
Chickenfoot Gumbo will be providing Mardi Gras music at the Soulard Subterranean Ball on Friday, Feb. 4th 8-midnight. The annual costume ball is held at the South Broadway Athletic Club, 2301 South Broadway, in St. Louis. Also playing Saturday Feb. 5th at Broadway Oyster Bar from 2-4 during the parade. I'd enjoy meeting any St. Louis lowdowners that are out and about. Maaybe we could get a pic, like the guys from the coasts do. www.ethertonswitch.com
sputnik 5
I will also be playing in Soulard around Mardi Gras (though I'll be on drums with my jazz combo). I'm not sure of the exact time or place we're playing (I'll PM you when I find out), but maybe we'll run into eachother...
dohhhhh6
Most likely I won't be able to, but you never know, miracles do happen. If I do manage, I'll be sure to let you know. Thanks for the update. In Skynyrd We Trust

way2fat
The Accugroove Whappo Jr., Ampeg SVPCL, and Peavey DPC-1000 will be the rig of choice for this event. I just needed somewhere to say that. Thank you. www.ethertonswitch.com

Connie Z
Hi Way2Fat! Man I WISH I could be there! You know that I of course adore Mardi Gras music! I think you are going to have a blast! Is this the first ball you are playing, or do you perform there every year? Have a blast, and please do take some photos if any lowdowners can make it. Pictures in general would be fun! I'd love to see what a St. Louis Mardi Gras party looks like. ... connie z "Change comes from within." - Jeremy Cohen The definition of LUCK: When Preparation meets Opportunity! http://www.cybergumbo.com
way2fat
This will be our first time at the St. Louis Mardi Gras. I'm told that it is the largest one outside of the Big Easy. Naturally we're fired up to play. Maybe some day we'll get to play at the "real" one. www.ethertonswitch.com
Connie Z
Well, just make sure to give me some notice, and when you come to The Big Easy... I shall make you some Gumbo. NOT Chickenfoot gumbo but the old boring seafood gumbo! ... connie z "Change comes from within." - Jeremy Cohen The definition of LUCK: When Preparation meets Opportunity! http://www.cybergumbo.com
way2fat
I hope to hold you to that some day, Connie, because I'm a gumbo eatin' demon . www.ethertonswitch.com
