quietplease
recently, i got to play with a peavey kosmos pro and a behringer ultrabass pro, stitched into my bass rig via the post-effects loop. there are detailed notes at http://www.quietplease.com/adsense/subharmonic/ summary: both sound great and are fun to play through live. the kosmos pro tracks much faster than the ultrabass, but also costs much more. jeremy c
Thanks for the reviews. I wish you had been able to try out the DBX unit. A few years ago I passed on an opportunity to pick one up at a huge discount and I've been kicking myself ever since. Free download of my cd!. musicfiend
Jeremy, cmon...we all know you wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't blue. So stop kicking yourself over it. Now if there were some rackmount unit thatw as able to produce the elusive "blue note" that would be something to kick yourself over. (reference to brown note.....succesful.) Hiram Bullock thinks I like the band volume too soft (but he plays guitar). Joe Sample thinks I like it way too loud (but he plays piano). -Marcus Miller
