whats up guys and girls!

i just got back from my trip down to Tucson for christmas and scouting colleges.

while i was down there i was fortunate enough to meet with Basshappi, or Dan, his non-bass name.

it was really cool hanging out with the guy at the guitar center in town, and i got to play some kick ass basses (including the Flea signature model which is amazing by the way). and i was able to play around with a Whammy pedal, and man, those things are cool. did u know that if u hit an open E string, and use that pedal to go down two octaves, the bass frequency is so low that i wouldn't even hear it (cept the speaker almost vibrated off it's screws)!!! i am definitly getting me one of those!

anyways, here's the pic of Dan and Me...

That's nothin'! Sometimes, when you go to GC, some of the basses are actually playable, in tune, and not sticky! Really, it does happen...

:)

Peace,

I'm a lot more like I am now than I was when I got here.

C'mon, Will...

You know you've picked up that Bongo at 14th street...

It's like I was wool, and the bass was the new Velcro model...

lol, yeah, they had a lot of basses, including the Flea sig. model, the Mike Dirnt Model, and a Spector bass that a guy was gonna sell to us for 800 (tag said 1200!!!!!)

oh yeah, most were in tune, and we had the whole room to ourselves most of the time. a shout out to that guy at Guitar center that was super nice and let me play around with the Whammy as much as i liked.
