Edendude
I just bought and twice watched the 2003 release of 'John Mayall and The Blues Breakers 70th Birthday Concert' DVD. Well worth picking up! Production values are top notch. Clapton and Mick Taylor show up to make things more interesting, and the rhythm section absolutely kicks ass! Hank Van Sickle is the guy whom I now most wish to emmulate to the best of my bass playing ability. A true 'for the band' and 'for the song' player for sure! He plays a Jazz 5 though an Eden WT-800 and a pair of Eden D410XLTs at this concert. Check this one out if you have not already done so, guys! http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0000E6FOK.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg My Last Band
Steve Lawson
Not seen the DVD, but I have got the album, and it's really really good. Steve www.stevelawson.net StevieLand - go on, you know you want to!
Edendude
For sure, Steve! The last hour of the concert, in particular, had me absolutely transfixed. I'm going to watch it again tonight for the third time in 24 hours! My Last Band
