That Dingwall is one of the prettiest looking basses I've seen in a while. Second only to the bass referenced in my sig. However from a realistic perspective, I am looking at this beast in the near future:

GB, do they have a "4" BEAD? That would be fantastic! I have short fingers but, hate to tune down! That's why I like "5's". All I have to do is move down the neck. I tried it on my Jazz but, the neck won't handle it. My Yamaha Nathan East is a good bass but, I still prefer the feel off the thin neck.

Thought I'd post the part of my collection I call "My Blue Heaven".

http://members.aol.com/jeremyzone4/myblueheaven.jpg

Left to right:

Paul Reed Smith 5 string

Carvin Six String

Mike Lull M4V 4 string

Rogue Strat copy

We'll need a few more color threads to get the other instruments in. ;)

Now that is a Super SHWEET finish on that Roscoe!!

Looks to be a sixer, judging by that neck pocket.

Too much...

Oh, Tom, thanks for your attempted continuation of the semi-annual "Take a terrible pic of wraub" tradition, but those are merely bad, as opposed to terrible. Please try harder next time. Or not.

and Will- Thanks for posting those. Really.

:D

Peace,

wraub

I'm a lot more like I am now than I was when I got here.

Greenboy, I finally tried a Dingwall at Bass Central 2 weeks ago...f*%#ing incredible! The fanned frets actually make it easier to play, I couldn't believe it.

Will try it again in January.
