Ashdown Perfect Ten

I am forever searching for the "perfect" practice amp and came across this little beauty yesterday. I did a forum search and came up empty.

Anybody here own one or have played one? Can anybody vouch for this wee combo?

i can vouch for ashdown and their stuff but not this combo in particular. I play through an abm410. I would've bought an ashdown head to match but it too expensive considering my end of summer intenship shopping budget.

I got an ibanez 8" 15w practice amp for my room back home in brooklyn for christmas. I paid $50 brand new and it's great for the purpose it serves.

Holy Moly! That is sweet. Thanks Lug. With a price tag of $599 it just doesn't make sense for me though (read: my wife would kill me.)

It's down to Ashdown Five Fifteen or SWR LA12 each 60 watts and each under $250 shipped.

I can highly recommend the Ampeg BA-112 but it is a little more pricy. A perfect amp that fits between practice and small gig.

  • 3 weeks later...

I've got a Trace Elliot Boxer 30. Its a single 10" with a 30 amp built in. Covered in their dark green carpet. Very well made. Very solid and sounds great. I bought it to practice on and my 11 year old has kidnapped it to play through. It has great tone and punch for a little box. dont know if you can find one anywhere, but if you can, snap it up.
