I had my free lesson tonight after work at the Bass Collective (541 Ave of the Americas betw. 14th St. and 15th St. -- only about 20 blocks from where I work). I really enjoyed it. I'll go back. Lessons will be on my Xmas/Hanukah/Kwanzaa gift list once again. Anyway, I got a ton of homework -- a lot of it has to do with writing out various scales and related chords and playing them. I also need to compile a bunch o' tunes I wanna learn -- start learning 'em and move that train towards transcription land. The instructor is clearly a stronger teacher than the one I took lessons from in Chicago a couple of years ago. Hopefully I can stick with it. At least often enough to keep up momentum. _Sweet Willie_
I dunno. Tom "Madball Schecky Slidey-Chair" Capasso posted a new thread about this fall's MP Live. There may be a link to the website there, and info available there as well. Also, try the relatively new "BP Editor's Office" forum to contact the editors with this question of yours, catman.
