Not trying to hijack the thread, but what kind of music does a Dingwall mainly lend itself to?? Jazz? Rock? Funk? Blues?

I don't see any reason to typecast a versatile and powerful actor.

So what you are saying is that a Dingwall is the Wicked Drunken Kungfu Master of all Disciplines?

(Apologizes to Matt W for another highjack)

The Dingwall looks and sounds to me, in theory, like one of the most sensible instrument innovations in a really long time.

Sadly, I have yet to play one, as they are none too common, and the price indicates that that purchase date is a long time off.

Still, a beautiful thing, and a fitting b-day wish-thing.

Enjoy!

Peace,

Not me. I'm doing that THIS year....

Wraub - I think there is a Dingwall distributor somewhere in south/central NJ (I think, not sure). Then there is a place in Poughkeepsie...that's where I put my paws on one. I still have the email of a Canadian gentleman who handles dealership relations for SheldonD...

Maury - politeness is always appropriate. To you I say "apologize this"
