i read the specs on the OLP MM2 (musicman copy), but it confused me. how can the bass have two volume controls, but only one pickup?

if anyone could help explain this i would appreciate it :)

With the right pickup, it can make a big difference. My Warwick Streamer Pro-M has a MM style pickup with a volume and a blend for each coil. The blend control is fantastic, going from P-Bass mid-honk towards the neck and J-bridge bite at the bridge. I didn't think much of it either until I got my hands on it.
