wraub
Wow, that sounds like quite a tour. I will try to make one of the NY shows, and that workshop at Duquesne sounds potentially very cool. I'm a big fan, nice to see you post here. Come back often... Peace, wraub I'm a lot more like I am now than I was when I got here.
ClarkW
Good luck on your tour. Looks like you're not quite coming close enough for me to see you; maybe next time!
Tedster
No Kansas City... Everyone always forgets Kansas City. Even the Kansas City Royals have forgotten Kansas City. Or we've forgotten them. Something like that. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
wraub
Any NYC LDers contemplating any of these appearances? Might be worth playing hooky from work for the day... Roadtrip? Grant - Toupé
Hi Michael, I saw you at The Joiners (Southampton UK) this year with Steve Lawson and John Lester - a fantastic night all round. Anymore plans to come to the UK? I know a lot of people who were gutted that they couldn't make the show. It's a long way to come just to please them...but hey, worth the asking. Good luck with the tour. If there is no chance of the UK this year - I might ahve to drag a few people to France. Toupé - www.toupe.co.uk 2Bass Players - One drummer - No guitar - NO RULES! 57pbass
I saw Michael Manring at a Guitar Ceneter clinic last year.... In addition to be a great player he spent as much time as the store would allow to answer questions and elaborate on many bass topics.. very very nice guy.... www.danielprine.com

Michael Manring
Thanks so much guys! Please make sure to say hello if you can make it to one of these shows. Im a little disappointed we werent able to fit DC and Florida on this trip as its been a long time since Ive been to either. Im hoping something will work out soon. Plans are underway, however, for another run through the UK with Steve Lawson in November. Please stay tuned. Hopefully Ill get back to Detroit soon, too. Ill have to try that half nelson thing sometime -- could be good publicity! (just kidding!)
TShakazBlackRoots
Hey, Mr Manring, Africa?? Those guys have seen it all, year in year out. Africa is still 'virgin' to your great artistry. I wish more talented artists would tour Africa. Nicklab
Michael, thank you so much for posting here. I saw you play years ago at The Bottom Line in NYC with Michael Hedges, and it was an incredible show. I went with my bass teacher, and both of us were astonished!
