_Sweet Willie_
I wonder if idnarb is still playing. If I remember correctly she was somewhat new to the instrument and was very happy with her lefty Carvin. Peace. --s-uu spreadluv Fanboy? Why, yes! Nordstrand Pickups and Guitars. Basshappi
Haven't seen Groovemouse in a long time either. Nothing is as it seems but everything is exactly what it is - B. Banzai Life is what happens while you are busy playing in bands.

The answer to that question is always yes. I know he had the respect of many of the regulars on this forum, and yes, he was quite insightful and humorous at times. He even sent me an e-mail once when he thought he might have offended me. But he was wound a little tight. _Sweet Willie_
Where's Dave Martin been? Hopefully his studio has been busy. We also haven't heard from PJR much recently. I wonder if he's bought and sold more gear. I'm sure his gig schedule is as busy as ever. Maybe he's been overly meticulous in wrapping up his Wal 5-string to send to me for my recent birthday. Then again, maybe not. Peace. --SW spreadluv Fanboy? Why, yes! Nordstrand Pickups and Guitars. Messiaen knew how to parlay the funk.
rumpelstiltskin.
PJR has also been fairly absent on talkbass.com. i can almost guarantee, however, that he has been buying and selling as quickly as possible. robb. because i like people.
PJR
PJR is alive and well. Just busier than heck. Between my Band gig schedule , and subbing in 2 other bands between , and building a new house... To bring you up to speed real quick.....I havent bought nor sold any bass related equipment in 2004. Really. I check in daily ( I am watching you all ) ( not as frequently on TB .....) No need to speak unless I feel the urge to contribute. PJR 5CentMary

I'm sure he'll pop up again in time so we can indulge in some further non-standard (and rather techy) bass musings! Which will be nice. I shan't hold my breath though... Thomas Wilburn
I think it's "The Boy Formerly Known as Green." But I always preferred S-Dub's El Niño Verde, myself. Four String Riot the myspaces, we hates it
_Sweet Willie_
El Nino Verde was not mine. Perhaps CMDN or Bumpcity can claim that fine turn of phrase. Sorry if I've misled anyone. I always thought that TBFKAG was The Bassist Formerly Known As Greenboy. However, technically he's TBCKAG: The Bassist Currently Known As Greenboy. Of course, in the Spanish vein, perhaps the "G" stands for guapo -- why not? spreadluv Fanboy? Why, yes! Nordstrand Pickups and Guitars. Messiaen knew how to parlay the funk. dcr
Seems that christening came here . Thanks for popping in, PJR--I was wondering, too! And we haven't seen Graybass in a long time, have we? I thought I had seen RobT recently over in one of the other forums. A check of his recent posts would seem to indicated that he's gone off-topic lurker and even (gasp!) headed over to the Keyboard Corner more often than not. It's a little creepy being able to check where and how often someone posts here. It's even worse taking a look at my own recent posts and realizing that I do, in fact, spend way too much stuff online. My boss needs to find some more work for me pronto.
