57pbass Posted May 7, 2004 Author Share Posted May 7, 2004 It works... Thats my 1957 P Bass with a B 15. It once belonged to Bill Peasley who performed with Gene Autrey and Melody Ranch Boy. Bill also toured with Mel Torme. He traded this bass at Sam Ash in Florida after asking family members if they where interested in it..they all declined. I was lucky enough to walk in about 1 hour after this trade in took place.... I got to meet Bill and his wife at their home in Pt. St Lucie Fla. He showed me a scrap book and told me he had performed at hundreds of country fairs with Autrey and this bass. I took a picture with him..he was a gentleman and it was a pleasure to meet him..He asked that I take good care of his bass which I agreed to do. www.danielprine.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
