Ultravibe Posted June 29, 2002 Posted June 29, 2002 His name is Mitch Peterson. And you're right about his mom. He once said his mom would be mad at him, and she disowned him on that show. When Grandpa Simpson worked at the fast food joint, he referred to him as Mr. Peterson. And I know his first name is Mitch, I just can't recall right now when they said it. Andrew Mazzocchi
Ultravibe Posted June 29, 2002 Posted June 29, 2002 Bumble Bee MAN (not guy) had the name Pedro on his bowling shirt in the Pin Pals episode. I need a life. Andrew Mazzocchi
Dylan Posted June 29, 2002 Posted June 29, 2002 Wow! I can finally say that I've seen people who were bigger Simpsons nerds than myself :p . Which one of you wants to be known as the Simpsons Rainman? It's Sunday at 8....definitely gotta watch Simpsons...
Sp3nc3r Posted June 30, 2002 Posted June 30, 2002 Gwen Stefani's brother was involved with the show for a while, as well. I AM Rainman!! Cheers! Spencer "I prefer to beat my opponents the old-fashioned way....BRUTALLY!!!!"
Wiggum Posted July 2, 2002 Posted July 2, 2002 Ahh, the Simpsons...... Simply my favorite show ever.... I never had the opportunity to reply to the Jonathon Swift / Matt Groening thread, but I really wanted to. The show is tremendously deep. It is the only animiated show that I can think of that has undergone character development. Groening and crew have done a phenomenal job. The loss of Phil Hartman, Conan O'Brien and others has been a setback (and the newest episodes don't thrill me like some older ones), but I never want to see it die. The show really came of age when Homer became the central focus (rather than Bart). The annoying "Cowabunga" and "Don't have a Cow, Man" craze was enough to ruin the show from the get go. Thankfully, that whole thing died. Despite being animated, it sure as hell isn't a show for kids. And for those who don't find it funny, I almost wonder if they even get it. It is high brow humor and satire - you just have to watch long enough to see it. All the best, Wiggum
