Wewus432
Not really. Have you heard these guys? It's Bobby Weir's side band. Here's a clue. The bass player is Rob fuckin' Wasserman. I thought he was slumming until I started listening to their live CD. Every one in the band is a ringer. They've been playing together for probably ten or fifteen years and they sound great. You have to listen to it a bit because these guys are not on a ego trip, just into playing, kind of laid back, but smokin'. Bob Weir is probably the worst guy in the band. Dogfur
Ahh -the Dog! Ratdog was the post-Dead project of Bobby Weir after Jerry Garcia's death in '95. A pretty natural offshoot from the Weir/Wasserman duo that had existed for years. It went through several versions through the years, with Weir, Wasserman, and Jay Lane as the core members. This current version is definitely the best, and yes, they rip. The live album is great, hear other live recordings here: http://www.gdradio.com/ratdogradio/ Woof!
