Were to find jazzy grooves to listen to and learn on the web

Now you said the word grooves...you want grooves, eh? then your best bet will require the following steps:

1) go to www.winamp.com, install Winamp3. It's just an audio player which works best with streaming internet radio stations, which brings me to step 2...

2) go to www.shoutcast.com, either browse by genre, search for a particular genre, etc...you'll figure it out.

3) when you find a station that sounds like it might be right for you, click on the "Tune in" button...enjoy

 

I would HIGHLY recommend these 3 stations on shoutcast: BeatBlender, Monkey Radio, Groove Salad

There is an even better way...

 

You can search the net for tons of freely available midi files, on any style of music. Not only will you be able to listen to them... but also slow them down, and examine the arrangements in your sequencer etc. Very good for learning :)
