Bass Burp
John Blackwell Drum Video.....wait a minute before you bash it. Great drummers are usually accompanied by excellent bass players. This one happens to be "Baron Browne". He plays a bass solo for a live performance at Modern Drummer Festival 2002 on the song " One for the Books" --Gene Sacramento CA --When all else fails play one note. doc taz
Deep Purple Live from Royal Albert Hall in 1999. Great concert, and guest appearances from Ronnie James Dio, Dave Larue, and Van Romaine, among others. It's nice that the show started with a couple songs off of Jon Lord's light classical project. I don't remember the guy's name that did the first number, but the singer for the second song was Sam Brown, appropriately dressed in a purple outfit of varying shades (you'd have to have seen this up front, or watch the vid): http://w1.161.telia.com/~u16111511/rah/rah4a.jpg The concerto played here is said to have been the best version played live ever. See a personal account here . Above all, Steve Morse rules! sevenstring.org profile my flickr page
