It's tough to go wrong with 45-105. That's what I use.

 

I wish bass strings were a little less expensive so one could experiment more. Guitar players have a good deal there. Of course, those strings break more often and I have never broken a bass string.

I like the big guages for more string tension, but you may like the strings more loose. If thats the case then get lights (i dunno what the gauges are) Im guessing they are 40, 60, 80, 100. I think I've seen 40, 55, 75, 95 too.

 

I use Ernie Ball SLinkys 45, 65, 80, 100, 130 on my 5 stringer. I think I might look for a brand with thicker E and B strings though. They are kinda floppy.
