Tedster
"How I Won The War"...with the illustrious John Lennon. Don't know if I had ever seen it before. Actually, Lennon's part was rather small in the film. Sorry. IMHO...it sucked. I had to force myself to watch it...and couldn't for long. It was like they were trying to be humorous like Monty Python or something, but it just wasn't happening. There must have been something I missed. Anyone else ever seen this flick? Dak Lander
Well Ted, I can't say I saw the movie. I couldn't hang and stopped watching & went to something else. I'm not the biggest Beatles fan anyway so it doesn't take much for me to lose interest. Before I get flamed to death, I do understand and respect what they did for music. It's this: I can take 'em or leave them, nothing more, nothing less. Our Joint "When you come slam bang up against trouble, it never looks half as bad if you face up to it." The Duke... Tedster
Don't feel bad, Dak. I'm a huge Beatles fan and I couldn't finish it either. ZZZZZZZZZ... "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"

Gator Wing
I've never seen it; but, in all the times I've read about how John made the movie, I've never seen a critic's review of it. As bad as Magical Mystery Tour? BTW, here's an interesting Beatles site: http://www.iamthebeatles.com/index.html There are two theories about arguing with a woman. Neither one works. Tedly Nightshade
Magical Mystery Tour is a great video, it's just about 10 times as long as it should be. Ted A WOP BOP A LU BOP, A LOP BAM BOOM! All of those early "music videos"...Walrus, Fool, Flying, etc. This had no music whatsoever and was just as stupid and pointless...IMHO.
