The Bear Jew
I did a couple of gigs at a strip club called the Dollhouse in Fl- at first it was crazy- then i just got used to it- and found out that most strippers are real head cases.. As a rocker, it's basically mandatory to date strippers at one point or another. So, naturally, I have a bit of experience in this area. OK, I have a LOT of experience with these ladies. Aside from dating many strippers, I also used to chaperone private parties for exotic dancers. Ben and Tom will tellya... if I was standing next to the door at your bachelor party, holding an aluminum baseball bat, you wouldn't act up much. It IS fun to look at them working in clubs, though... for about 10 minutes, then you realize that they are not seeing men sitting at the bar, but rather dollar bills. And I don't blame them. After paying for groceries and rent with that cash, stripping starts looking less sexy and more like hard work. Those girls WORK for your crumpled-up money. Think about it -- dancing naked (or nearly naked) in ridiculously high heels for 20 minutes of every hour (give or take) in a smoke-filled bar, dealing with other bitchy dancers, dodging the roaming hands of the patrons you HAVE to interact with in order to make any money, engaging in useless chit-chat to pass the time, constantly evading requests to "do more than dance" from scumbags, remaining pleasant with the assholes who keep trying to slip you their number or get yours... not too sexy, really. So many of my good friends are dancers... almost all of them hate it but need the cash and aren't qualified to do anything that will earn them as much loot. And, yes, Adrian is correct... many, many strippers are VERY screwy in the noggin. \m/ Erik "To fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists of breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting." --Sun Tzu

I have worked as a bouncer in a couple of strip joints. You don't even notice the nude women after a while and as far as dating them - NO WAY!
