Adamixoye
Okay, here's the breakdown, correct me if I'm wrong: 0-39 posts = Member 40-399 posts = Senior Member 400-999 posts = Gold Member 1000-1999(???) posts = Platinum Member 2000(???)+ posts = MP Hall of Fame Member (default) or "create-your-own" (???) So the multi-part question is, what comes after Platinum Member, and when does it happen? 2000 posts? Am I missing anything here? Am I correct that there exists a point where you can create your own member type? Last time I asked, I only got a snarky comment from greenboy (sadly, it was near the end for him). At 350ish posts, I just need to worry about becoming a Gold Member first. But, for that day in the future when I really have no life (no offense to anyone there) and hit some insane post level, I am quite curious what the setup is. I believe that is the greatest reply I\'ve ever read! I\'m not even joking. -- justinruins
jeremy c
Hall of Fame is 2000. I'm almost there, I'll let you know what it's like. (if there is anything to know ) After that, there is Honorary Co-Chair of the 'Get-A-Life' Society That seems to be after 10,000 posts! So far the only one I've seen at that level is Tedster. But I suppose it'll be like Scientology...If too many of us get to the top level, they'll create some newer higher levels. Free download of my cd!. No. Someone may be able to tell you better than I, but there used to be a moderator who gave certain people a funny member name. He is gone now. Maybe one of other mod's could do that for you??... Cowbell
Well, I heard that the Administrator could do that for you, and I tried to PM djarrett, but he hasn't answered my reply. Maybe we should try posting in the For The Band forum,as that's where he usually is. I believe Tedster had his specially made for him, like Lee Flier and Sylver. For instance, I just came across Miroslav over in the g****r forum, who, with only 3400+ posts, is "Cosmic Cowboy, intergalactic nomad and universal rodeo star." Perhaps I'll PM Tedster about it. I hope one is able to create their own...I'd hate to bug the moderators if that is the only way to do it (as surfmonkey suggested). Let me know how 2000+ turns out, Jeremy. Tedster
Adam...back in the day, our webmaster was Rob Kudyba. When I saw other people getting "custom member names" I thought I'd get one. The "Co-Chair of the Get a Life" bit was granted by Rob, long before I even got to 5000 posts. Lee was High Priestess, Khan was 21st Century Genetically Engineered Renaissance Man, etc... I don't know if anyone has added or deleted custom names since then. Maybe Dendy is the guy to talk about it with now... The best member status to me, isn't senior, gold, platinum, or even hall of fame. The best member status is the "Having fun and contributing in a positive way" member. You reached that status a long time ago, my friend... "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"

For sports without KC teams, I default to Chicago so I'm a Bulls and Blackhawks fan. Unfortunately, I now live in Bronco country (at CU for grad school). But at least it's cool to be away from Husker country (remember the "technically in Iowa" part?). Man, I hate those guys. Whether or not KoRn RuLeZ, Corn sucks. I know it was one of these months because I was on the road at the time. I arrived home to find my favorite posters with crazy member status descriptions. It coincided with the UBB update that gave us avatars, in addition to a few other previously unavailable features. I think it WAS March of 2002, because before I asked Rob for a custom status, they downsized him. That wasn't 2 years ago, right, Ted? Either way, time certainly flies around here....
