Keybass
Thanks for all of the positive replies. I have only been playing the bass for about two years. My influences on the instrument are Jaco, Eddie Gomez and Charles Mingus. Of course I dig Bootsey, Stanley and Marcus too. I have spent my proffesional musical life as a keyboardist playing mostly fusion/bop and r&b. Thanks again for all of the support it is very very cool. Jode
Wow, our gene pool just got a lot deeper. Thanks for coming, man. If you're a fusion dude, you probably already know this, but check out one of the most underrated badass bassists in the world: Ralphe Armstrong of Jean Luc Ponty's 70s band. Two words: "Egocentric Molecules." "I had to have something, and it wasn't there. I couldn't go down the street and buy it, so I built it."
