The Fonz Posted June 18, 2003 Share Posted June 18, 2003 mmmmmmmmmm, rib tipsssssssssssssssss....... oops, sorry. not sure that i could really explain songwriting. i usually start by just playing with the kick drum on whatever the root is, then i break it up by playing with the other notes in the chord. eventually i get the feel of the groove and the melody and it writes itself.
