PETE_COMBS
I use cakewalk, know I use sonar 2.0 xl but I've not looked into that program yet. When I got cakewalk I got fruityloops right after. the two programs work great with each other, say im recording a bass track. I record the track send it to fruityloops and load it as a pattern and put it in my playlist.Next i can record and create drum beats for the bass piece I just created, then placeit under the bass track on the playlist, you may have to work it in to flow thats normal. With fruityloops I can also create background pieces for the music. There's over hundreds of options to create music your looking for. I also have vioce effect programs and I can pruduce my on music and movies onto cd's.Im in the procees of getting a labeler.I've had people ask me and my friends to produce there cd,s, were all musicians who make up music all the time so these programs are very important when you want to start recording on your on with profesioanal results and qaulity. davebrownbass
Pete, are you from Hazard Kentucky? If so, my folks are just a skip away...in Bledsoe. My brother does a bit of playing up there as well. Unless there's another Hazard I know nothing about. "Let's raise the level of this conversation" -- Jeremy Cohen, in the Picasso Thread. Bartolini
I find Ableton Live 2.0.2 as a killer recording software. Cakewalk's modulation knobs are irritating and user un-friendly.
