Farid
Hi!, i've been looking for the past weeks for a 4 string bass and it got down to a Stingray or a Lakland 44-02. I Just wanted to ask you guys what experience have you got with both of this basses. I have been playing a Fender Jazz (mex model) and this would be my first 'good' bass. I never really have seen a lakland in person but they look good, are they comfortable playing? thanks for any advice you can give!!
Timothy Lyons
I can only vouch for the Stingray, I bought mine a month and a half ago, and have clocked more hours on that than my two year old five string (and that's including two weeks disabled because of tendinitis) Stingrays are comfortable and addictive, and solid as hell...buy used for your best buy. \m/ Timothy Lyons
73 P Bass
Play both. If you can, side by side. If you are thinking of mail ordering, make sure they have a favorable return policy, but it is best to hear them side by side in a controled situation, and let your ears be the judge.
