I prefer to eat my Swedish bass lightly grilled with a little lemon and fresh ground pepper. Come to think of it, I don't even know if there is such a thing as Swedish bass. I know there's large-mouth bass.

That makes me wonder, is there a Swedish fish in the shape of a large-mouth bass -- red, yellow, green, or orange?

I dunno. I'd like to start a petition to get one created if it doesn't exist. In the meantime, perhaps I'll just pop on over here.

MMmmm... swedish fish. chewy.

The last time I had swedish fish, it was kinda leathery...

Oh, wait. That was suedeish fish.

Never mind.

Peace,

p.s. But it was better than the Ultrasuedeish fish.

I'm a lot more like I am now than I was when I got here.

I think Epifani makes some UltraSuedeish fish using neodymium magnets. Light in the package, big sound when you chew, but not really so tantalizing on the taste buds.

However, considering that Epifani seems to have Italian roots, rather than Scandinavian, I would hazard to say that they would be better off producing UltraItalian fish, perhaps like what you would find in the Old Country on a pizza napoletano. Then they could forego the suede and the neodymium and focus on something that would be a joy to eat.

Then again, there are pizza flavored goldfish -- mmmmmm.

I had swedish fish, but it was just a bluegill with sugar sprinkled on it to make it swedish, or sweetish, whatever. Sweet fish do not taste as good as the name implies, oh, and chocolate and Cheese DON'T mix, no matter what the band WEEN tells you! :P

Fondue is Swiss, not Swedish, silly!

And yes, that would be unpleasant. My question is, though: Is it dessert or an entree?

Isn't it only Swiss if you use Swiss cheese?

And I would have to call it a snack. Or a lifestyle choice.

No, I'll stick with snack.

OK you guys. Conny started this to get an opinion. Usually we don't give opinions until someone contributes, but you have to admit - he's been patient while you guys were baiting him. He hasn't come back to complain about being ignored. I figure I'll listen to his stuff in the next day or so (can't tonight).

Somebody ought to comment on it (good or bad), before we start teasing about fins - the guy won't know if we're talking about being close to Finland or the flapper on the side of a shark.

Maybe there is something fishy about this thread, but I'll give it a listen...

hmmmm...

I tried some Swedish bass, and it kinda tasted like spam. But maybe it's too early too tell.

Ahem... :D

I like what I'm hearing... straight up hard rock with the ever present dose of (Mesa) Recto fueled distortion the kidz seem to love these days.

Lots of pop influence, too. Not enough to sap the music of its energy and power, though, so that's good. Would sound nice in the ol' minivan! ;)
