cornbread_medhotmail.com
I use a Sans Amp all the time with my Redhead in the studio and live. It gives you a little extra umph. I just use it as a preamp since I have the DI on my amp. You can send a signal from the Sans Amp and the Baby Blue and mix the 2 at the board. I've done this a few times, as well. It beefs up the sound quite a bit. Try it out and see what you think. You can always only bring the Sans Amp to save your back.
andertone
I have the original Baby Blue and a SansAmpBDDI and ususally send the Sansamp signal to the board (or house) and *mike* the cabinet. It lets that sparkle the 5" HF speaker has come through the mix plus a little crunch. For small venues, I just sent the DI to the board and let the mains and monitors reinforce my moderate stage volumes. Great little amp, but with it's limitations. That's why we have bigger rigs, right? Mine is Epi T112 and T212 and QSC2402/Alembic F2b Phil Anderson Tucson AZ
