This weekend my wife will be honored with a U.S. Congressional Lifetime Achievement Award in Blues & Jazz. The event will be this Friday & Saturday at the Woodfin Suites Hotel in Emeryville, CA. The event is called Celebrate a Legend and will be honoring Jimmy McGriff, Gatemouth Brown, Eddie Bo, Sonny Rhodes, Lady Bo and Little Milton. She is in good company.
