Motu2408, Logic Audio and Sound Forgue

Until today I has been working with sonorus card(+2 adats) Logic Audio and Sound Forgue without problems. I updated to Motu 2408 to have 24 ins/outs and 24bits, to make LA work fine I need to put buffer to 1024 or 2048,but when change to Sound Forgue when I play a track every first second souned clikcs and then play ok,if buffer is changed to 128 then play is ok in SF but not in LA, This is a problem of my machine or I need to do something more? what values are usual of buffer ? win98se,PIII 800 ,512ram, 20+40HD and all drivers are updated, thanks,
