surfmonkey
Wow, so many people don't like Hartke! The sound of cabinets are always going to be debatable. As far as there durability is concerned though, I'm a bit surprised at everyone's comments. I have a Hartke 15" XL and it has been a workhorse for 10 years. I have never had any problems with mine. In fact, I've had to re-cone my SWR's a bunch of times. The Hartke however, has never been in the shop. I have no homepage.
Bill C from Nashvegas
I don't know about their cabs, but I've used a Hartke 5000 head now for about 6 years and it sounds OK to me. And it's been reliable. I do agree that there's not much difference in tone between the tube and SS pre.
