I plan on buying a better head and a 4X10 or 2X10 in the future so I want to get a good 15 that I can use with a better overall rig. I Don't want to spend much more than $400 U.S. if possible. I don't know a lot about amps and stuff so anything you could recomend for me to try out would be great. I play Rock, Jazz, and blues mainly. thanks! g. Posted June 14, 2002 Share Posted June 14, 2002 Of all the 15 cabs in that price range, I like Peavey's 15 the best. It sounds tight and fast. Make sure it's the model with the Black Widow though -- not the cheaper speaker. Haven't really worked with the Carvin 15, but the Carvin 18 is in your price range and has the meat to work in a two-cab situation.
