Give away something to a fellow, perhaps struggling artist, not unlike myself, looking for a leg up. I've begun collaboration with A.V.I.D., a not-for-profit group which helps accident victims natiowide recieve information and valuable services free of charge. After discussing several fundraising ideas, we've decided on a songwriting competition. Our Grand prize winner will receive "Masterwriter", the ultimate CD-ROM collection of tools for the professional songwriter. As author, you retain all rights to your material. we will not be doing anything more with your song after the judging except perhaps enjoy listening to the many entries we hope to receive. As Northeast Country Music Association's 1993 "Songwriter of the year" I will be acting as one of the judges, along with several employees of A.V.I.D. Grand prize: 1 year membership into "Taxi, inc" or if you are already a member , 1 year renewal. Plus, "Masterwriter" CD-ROM 1st prize: "Masterwriter CD, or 1 year membership into Taxi,inc 2nd prize: $100. 3rd -10th prize: "thank you" certificate of exellence from A.V.I.D.
